The Experience
This Experience introduces you and your family to the world of baby sign language that stars like Debra Messing practice and as seen in Meet the Fockers! Long before your baby can speak, he/she has the ability to understand speech and has the desire to communicate. Babies as young as 3 months old have the ability to recognize the American Sign Language signs that you produce. That is about the same age that babies in general start to wave "bye-bye" or hold up their hands as if to say "pick me up". Our wee ones are not born knowing how to communicate these messages - we teach them! Signing with your baby can improve their development and decrease a baby’s frustration and anxiety by understanding their basic needs - hungry, thirsty, tired, or just in need of some extra attention. The Experience will teach you and your baby through repetition, getting down at their level, and being really silly and fun with them. This Experience by WeeHands, the only official American Sign Language affiliate in Canada with qualifications to teach babies, will teach you how to use the signs with your wee one throughout the day. This semi-private Experience will teach you the signs you need and you teach your wee one through songs and fun, motivating language-based activities! In order to make the Experience that much more memorable, we will offer an optional signing songbook to inspire you and your baby to practice all day long. The songbook includes songs that match every point in your baby’s day; from waking up in the morning, changing time, to dinner and bedtime – signing has never been so practical! We will also include an Unforgettable Days camera to capture all those precious moments and a plush baby toy for the child. We at Unforgettable Days understand how difficult it is to manage day-to-day errands and still operate an efficient home, so we are including a 15% off voucher for Gourmet Meals @ Home to give you that little extra time for yourself and your wee one! Vital Information
This Experience is suited for babies from birth to walking. The Pick Me Up Book is the main source of guideline for the lessons and will be a great resource to continue the signing process – the purchase of the book is $45.60 (includes PST & GST) please specify the ref# MBSWHB next to the order of the Experience. You and your baby will learn approximately 50 signs in these sessions. The first session will be booked by Unforgettable Days and the second session should be arranged with the instructor.

More Information
Special attention can be geared towards babies with disabilities, as Signing with Your Baby has been proven to decrease the baby’s frustration with day to day tasks and communication. This also aides the family’s ability to communicate with the child. Each baby in this Experience can bring along the family to participate, anyone who is in contact with the baby regularly should participate. This will reiterate the information absorbed on a regular basis. If you are the proud parents of twins or triplets, you will only be obligated to purchase one Experience! All sessions must be completed within a 6 month period.

All Experiences include Next-Day evening delivery with UPS (registered mail). If you would like a morning delivery time or perhaps on a Saturday, please contact us or mention this on the order form to arrange this service.
