The Experience
This Experience offers a new mother or the couple, an opportunity to discuss various issues that are at hand with a qualified Doula after the birth of a child; breast-feeding, sleeping habits, emotional distress. Post-partum depicts the time after a child is born, an extremely crucial time for the mother and child to form a relationship. These sessions also emphasize on the relevant post-partum depression stage that occur frequently in new mothers – a serious issue that deserves undivided attention. These sessions include light housekeeping or any assistance needed by the mother. Please refer to the Mother-to-Be Doula Experience to grasp a full understanding on what a Doula embodies. In addition to the Doula services, LoriAnn Toplak, a certified infant massage therapist; will provide a one hour session of massage to the baby and instruct you on how to perform it yourself. The baby massage helps weight gain, colic, and the normal development process flourish. These sessions will truly inspire and educate any mother or parent.

This service is available within the GTA and surrounding areas with Julia MacNeil. If you are located outside these parameters, an alternate Doula will be contacted. Please contact us for more information regarding Doula services. LoriAnn Toplak is a certified infant massage therapist (CIMI), as well as a registered massage therapist. She has worked with numerous babies in the past to understand the benefits gained from this Experience. This Experience is an insightful educative one that should be implemented by all parents. The Experience also works well with a small group of parents who have babies around the same age. Infant massage can be started as soon as your little one is 3 weeks old.

More Information
The first appointment with the Doula will be arranged by Unforgettable Days and subsequent visits should be arranged between you and the Doula. All sessions must be completed within a 6 month period. Please contact us about the preferred date for the baby massage. If this pregnancy is a second or third time around for you and you wish for some extra help taking care of the children while you have any of your visits, please contact us for information regarding our amazing au pairs, who will help make this special time that much more relaxing!

Delivery
All Experiences include Next-Day evening delivery with UPS (registered mail). If you would like a morning delivery time or perhaps on a Saturday, please contact us or mention this on the order form to arrange this service.
