The Experience
Everybody loves snorkelling and exploring the underwater life and beauty, but to come across some beautifully shaped and coloured fish, coral and plants you have to go little deeper than the water’s surface. Unforgettable Days are offering an Experience like no other. This action packed session prepares you for your Unforgettable diving trip to Ibiza Spain; your final step in the process of obtaining your PADI Scuba Diving Certification Card (SDCC).

The initial part of the Experience is a one day, private one to one course with one of the most reputable scuba diving schools in Toronto. In the pool you will learn snorkelling, scuba diving skills, and safety techniques. You will become familiar with various types of scuba equipment and develop the confidence required for your open water dive, in the Balearic Island of Ibiza, Spain.

The final part of your Unforgettable Experience consists of 4 dives to 18 metres deep and includes your certification card. The Open Water Diving and certification will be conducted by Vellmari Scuba Centre at the Marina Botafoch in Ibiza. If you already have your certification, but want to Experience the most spectacular and largest underwater ecosystem in the Mediterranean, then you are more than welcome to join the group and participate in more advanced dives. The Ibiza Dive Experience will take you on numerous locations around the Island of Ibiza as well as an excursion to Es Vedra, one of the most magnetic points on the earth, and the neighbouring Island of Formenterra, where the beaches are preserved due to the naturist environment of the Island.

The excitement does not end there, enjoy the superb cuisine, the Spanish culture, the numerous water activities, and the unrivalled nightlife that the Island has to offer – all within close proximity to the Dive Centre and your hotel. The hotel is situated on Talamanca Beach, within walking distance to the Ibiza Port and historic areas. Enjoy the serenity of the Mediterranean during the month of June, when Diving is at its peak.

The Open Water Course in Toronto is available in the GTA and surrounding areas (unless requested otherwise).

The Ibiza Dive Experience will take place near Talamanca Beach in Ibiza, Spain.

Vital information
The participants need to be in good health and must be comfortable in water. Two passport pictures and medical certificate is required for diving in Ibiza. Certification can be made at the Diving Centre in Spain for an additional fee. Please inquire for this service to be arranged. Minimum age to participate is 12 years, however up to 18 years of age, they must be accompanied by a guardian. Both dive centres in Toronto and Spain are PADI certified centres and strict regulations are followed. The hotel rooms are based on two people sharing, 2 twin beds - if you wish to travel alone, you may be charged a supplement. You will be picked up by our staff at the airport and brought to your selected hotel, but may also want to rent a car or moped for the holiday – contact us for more information. If you are travelling with children, special rates may apply – please contact us for more information on a family package. All prices are inclusive of any relevant taxes, however these quotes are subject to availability and advanced booking.

Numbers
The Open Water private course is available one to one however, can be arranged for small groups. The group course in Toronto may include other participants for the weekend. Session length
The course in Toronto may take place on the weekends at your convenience. Advanced booking is required in order to reserve your preferred date.

The Ibiza Dive Experience will be 10 nights in Ibiza, however extended stays can be arranged. Please contact us for more information.

Weather
The course in Toronto is not dependant on the weather as it takes place in a pool. Please allow for more travel time to the site if there are bad driving conditions.

The weather in June in Ibiza, Spain is warm and sunny; rain is very rare during this time of year. Temperatures in the water range between 14 and 27C° all year and outside temperatures range between 20 and 27C°. Weather will only affect the Experience if it affects the flights to Spain.

Dress code
Comfortable clothing is suggested for the course, but please do not forget to bring a swim suit and towel for the pool instruction.

Cool, comfortable clothing is recommended for the Ibiza Dive Experience. Don’t forget your swim suit and towels for all the outdoor activities. It is also recommended that you purchase your own snorkel equipment for the trip to Ibiza, if not before. The snorkel gear can be rented but it is advised that you purchase your own.

The Ibiza Dive Experience is available throughout the year. Advanced booking is required to secure the availability and price and a deposit will be required at that time.
