The Experience
Your experience will start with a ferry boat crossing to the historical Toronto Island Airport. Once you arrive at The Helicopter Company’s main Base, you will be greeted by their friendly crew who will provide you with an introduction to the experience, a safety briefing and assist you with photographs before departure. You will then board the aircraft and be lifted high over the city by jet helicopter. The experience is smooth, safe and comfortable. Sit back, relax and enjoy the panorama of the Toronto skyline..
Once in the sky, you will see everything from the historical to the ultra modern – Old Fort York, Casa Loma, Royal Ontario Museum, the Sky Dome, the CN Tower, and everything in between. With your Unforgettable Days camera you will be able to take remarkable aerial pictures of Canada’s largest city from a bird’s eye view, and capture those precious Unforgettable moments. Toronto City Centre Airport (also known as “Toronto Island Airport”)

Vital Information
The 2 minute ferry ride to the island airport runs every 15 minutes from the mainland. Photo identification is required prior to boarding, for all passengers over the age of 16. Please present a driver’s licence, passport, health card or other official ID at time of check in. Passengers not carrying valid ID will not be permitted to fly and your package will not be refunded or extended in this case.
Passengers must be over three years of age.

Numbers
The Experience is based on two people however, four people can fly together. Your flight may be a private flight if two other people are not booked for the same day. Please contact us if you prefer to purchase a private flight.

Session Length
The touring time is approximately 9 min (15km route) or 14 min (35km route) depending on the package you choose. Please allow for up to 1 hour for your adventure to and from the island.

Weather
In order to have a safe flight, the Pilot requires a minimum of 6 statute miles of visibility, a cloud base of at least 2,000 feet and no falling snow. Not only does this add to your safety, but it also helps to ensure that you will actually see far enough out the window to make it enjoyable. Please contact us on the day of your booking to check if the weather is suitable for flying.

Dress Code
Comfortable clothing is recommended.

Availability
11am till sunset.
Monday to Sunday in the summer season (May 15th to Sept 30th).
Wednesday to Sunday in the winter season.
Advanced booking is required; please specify the requested date on the order form.

More Information
All aircraft do have weight restrictions and a helicopter is no exception. The easiest way to look at it is that you must be able to put on a standard size seat belt. At the time of booking you will be asked for your individual body weights.

Delivery
All Experiences include Next-Day evening delivery with UPS (registered mail). If you would like a morning delivery time or perhaps on a Saturday, please contact us or mention this on the order form to arrange this service.
