The Experience
When you arrive at the base in the morning; you will be greeted by a team of friendly representatives from the Parachute School of Toronto. You will then meet your instructor who will ask you a few questions and go through some paper work; and off you go to start your training. The training normally lasts about 4 to 5 hours, during this time you will learn everything you need to complete your sky dive. Once the class is finished, weather permitting, your class will start gearing up for the jump in the order in which you arrived for registration. When it is your turn, a staff member will help you gear up and make sure your parachute system is safe, and it is off to the plane with your instructor and as many as four other students! It is a ten minute climb to the jump altitude of 3,000 ft or higher - more than half a mile above the ground. Time to savour the trickle of adrenaline, your turn is coming! Your instructor beckons you forward, and tells you to get into position -"Get ready... GO!" You are off, falling away from the aircraft, looking up at your instructor, and focussing on your arch and count. A few seconds later, which can feel like no time at all, or a lifetime, you feel a firm tug and your parachute blossoms gently over your head - grab the steering toggles and start listening to the ground coach over the radio. With the coach's help, you get to play a little with your parachute and enjoy the scenery again while you steer yourself back to the landing area. The rush from the adrenaline at this point is pretty powerful, and you get a couple of minutes during your peaceful ride down to relish the feeling. Then, with coaching, you bring yourself to a gentle landing back on the drop zone.

After you land, you gather up your equipment and head back to the skydiving building, where you can relax and watch the video of your jump taken from the plane.

Location
The Experience takes place in Baldwin, Ontario at the Parachute School of Toronto.

Vital Information
It is recommended to arrive at the base no later than 9:30 am in order to make sure that you will complete your training and jump on the same day. On the day of the experience you will need to show proof that you're at least 18 years old, it is also required that you wear running shoes with decent support. The maximum weight for each participant is 235 pounds.

Numbers
The Experience is based on 2 people. Up to 4 participants can share the same flight.

Session Length
The Experience could last a whole day – morning to sunset - depending on the amount of participants. Please arrive at the centre early.

Weather
This Experience depends on good weather. Please contact us on the day of the Experience to confirm the flying conditions. If the weather conditions are prevents the Experience from taking place, an alternative date will be arranged or you may wait at the sky diving site for the weather to clear.

Dress Code
It is advised to wear comfortable clothing and running shoes with good support.
